Acey grew up on a hobby farm in the mountain range of Gatineau, Quebec.

At 16 she moved to Toronto with a friend where she attended The Etobicoke School of the Arts as a Drama Major.

Upon graduation, and undecided on a Post-Secondary course of action, Acey returned to Ottawa where she worked for local theatre companies as both a technician and performer. She couch surfed and lived out of her car for most of this year.

After her year of bohemianism, Acey again returned to Toronto where she attended the Ryerson Theatre School for Performance Production. After two years she successfully eluded a BFA in Performance Production, and transferred to Radio and Television Arts, also at Ryerson University.

Currently Acey is in her second year of Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson, and is the Co-Host and Technical Producer of The Mike Chalut Show on 103.9 PROUD FM.

She lives in Toronto's West End where she enjoys longboarding, playing guitar, and buying cheap produce.
